The Mission
Welcome to Sun Lakes Entertainment! Founded by Ray and Jacque Texeira, the Sun Lakes Entertainment mission is to create events that inspire residents of Sun Lakes, Arizona, to actively engage and encourage laughter, physical, emotional, social, and mental health regardless of age or gender. More broadly, it aims to forge stronger social connections within and between Sun Lakes’ neighborhoods and to foster a community that supports shared values and collaboratively builds systems that support healthy lifestyle-building activities that focus on healthy activities, entertainment, laughter, and fun.
Since 2020, we've organized engaging projects each year, showcasing local talent and fostering connections among friends and neighbors. From charity magic shows to talent competitions to senior games and our upcoming holiday event, we are dedicated to creating memorable experiences that strengthen our vibrant community. Join us in celebrating the spirit of togetherness! Our community events are financed by revenue from Ray's magic shows and local sponsors.
Ray and Jacque are dedicated members of our Cottonwood / Palo Verde and Sun Lakes community. They bring a wealth of experience in global business operations and have been members of various CWPV HOA committees and clubs such as the Recreation and Entertainment Committee, Fun Lakers Social Club, Sun Lakes Community Theater, and as a Cottonwood / Palo Verde new homeowner Ambassador. In addition, along with being a magician stage performer who has dazzled audiences in over six countries, they know how to use their business awareness and effectively manage projects.

Sun Lakes Entertainment LLC is a registered entity in Sun Lakes, Arizona, with pending 501C3 non-profit status

This organization’s purpose is to create and promote sporting and entertainment events that encourage community engagement fostering communication, cooperation, and well-being between four retirement communities. The company operates as a nonprofit with a volunteer board of directors and team managers, little to no overhead with a focus on working on one project at a time. All monies go directly to the project.
The Vision: To promote neighborhood interactions and thought-provoking activities to improve the quality of life.
